Daniel W. Sherer, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Sherer is a Board Certified Dermatologist who has been in private practice on Long Island since 2003.
Dr. Sherer trained at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he completed his residency and Dermatopharmacology fellowship during which he participated in numerous clinical trials for new medications used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne, eczema, hair loss, hirsutism, photoaging, wrinkles, Ichthyosis Vulgaris, actinic keratoses, athlete's foot, wound healing, and laser treatments. Dr. Sherer remains on staff at Mount Sinai as an Assistant Clinical Professor where he teaches both dermatology residents and medical students.
Dr. Sherer received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical College. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has published over a dozen original articles in professional journals. He was awarded First Prize in the New York Academy of Medicine Resident's Research Competition and a grant from the National Institute of Health for his research leading to a potential treatment of a connective tissue disease called Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum.
Dr. Sherer grew up in Syosset and enjoys giving back to the community in which he grew up by participating in local skin cancer screenings and lecturing at local schools and community centers. He is on staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, North Shore/LIJ Huntington Hospital, North Shore/LIJ Plainview Hospital, North Shore/LIJ Syosset Hospital, and Winthrop Hospital.

Jennifer Kim, PA-C, is a double Board Certified Physician’s Assistant in Medicine and Surgery who has been in practice since 1998. Jennifer attended Stony Brook University and obtained a Music degree as an accomplished pianist. She then attended S.U.N.Y. at Brooklyn Health Science Center (Downstate Medical Center) for her P.A. program thereafter. Subsequently she received a Master’s Degree in Dermatology Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Jennifer joined the Accredited Dermatology practice in 1998 as a PA, covering multiple office sites in New Jersey until she relocated to Long island, NY in 2000.
Jennifer focuses on Adult and Pediatric Dermatology, Skin Cancer Screening (Basal Cell Cancer, Squamous Cell cancer and Melanomas), Common Dermatosis (Eczema, Psoriasis, Acne Vulgaris, Rosacea, Fungal, Bacterial and viral conditions, etc), Dermatological Surgeries and various advanced Cosmetic procedures (Botox, Fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, Radiasse, Chemical Peels, and Laser procedures).
In addition, Jennifer taught Dermatology as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at SUNY at Brooklyn Health Science Center (Downstate Medical Center) and as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Touro Health Science Center. She was a Dermatology lecturer at the Touro National Board Examination Review Course and lectured before the New York State Society of Physician Assistants at their Annual Conference. Furthermore, she is a founder and a past President of the New York State Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and was an integral part of organizing Continuing Medical Education lectures for her colleagues.
Jennifer enjoys building a strong rapport with her patients and providing care in all aspects of Dermatology from healthy skin check-ups to enhancing appearance while maintaining the highest quality of patient care.
Christopher Buthorn, PA-C
Christoper Buthorn, PA-C is a New York State Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. He provides uncompromising care, expertise, and professionalism to his patients. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, he is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants. He is also a certified Respiratory Therapist.
Christopher has spent the past 7 years specializing in Dermatology. His medical interests include the treatment of numerous skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, allergic contact dermatitis, fungal and bacterial infections, lichen planus, seborrheic dermatitis, onychomycosis, lichen simplex chronicus, warts, and many more. He is also experienced in the practice of surgical excisions of various skin cancers and in the performance of full body skin examinations. He is also well experienced in wound care management.
Christopher attended the Touro School of Health Sciences where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and graduated with honors of Cum Laude. A graduate of Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, Christopher also holds an AAHS degree in Respiratory Therapy. Prior to becoming a dermatologic specialist, Christopher developed dual specialties in Orthopedics and General Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital.
Christopher is a long time resident of Long Island and has been serving his community for many years.
Brittany Graulich, Licensed Esthetician
Brittany is a medical esthetician trained on Long Island and has been practicing for a year and a half in spas around Long Island. She is skilled in performing many types of facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, and many other cosmetic treatments.
Educated at New York Institute of Beauty. After Brittany completed her training she returned to New York Institute of Beauty to take advanced courses. Brittany is a member of Associated Skin Care Professionals.
